CE Dealer Team and Volvo CE help Hansen Motorsport return to WRX in Finland - rivals unite for the future of rallycross

In a move without precedent in world motorsport, CE Dealer Team - powered by Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) and PWR Group - has stepped in to support long-time rivals Hansen Motorsport, enabling the iconic team to join this weekend’s FIA World Rallycross Championship round in Finland (23-24 August).
The extraordinary collaboration follows intense behind-the-scenes discussions and a race against time since Hansen Motorsport announced it would be forced to withdraw. Thanks to CE Dealer Team’s intervention, their has been a joint effort to get Hansen Motorsport back on the grid at KymiRing to ensure rallycross fans witness one of the sport’s great names to compete.
This is the first time a team has put aside the fierce rivalry of world championship competition to actively help a direct competitor race. The motivation: a shared mission to prove that motorsport can thrive through sustainable technology and values-led collaboration.
“We fight for the sport we love”
Micke Jansson, CEO of CE Dealer Team & PWR Group explained the decision: “We support Hansen Motorsport because keeping them on the grid reflects exactly why we started CE Dealer Team with Volvo CE four years ago. Of course, we are a highly competitive team, but our purpose has always been bigger than trophies. It’s about driving motorsport and industry towards a sustainable future. Seeing rival teams come together to make this happen proves the spirit and potential of World RX. In the end, it was a clear choice to step up.”

Kenneth Hansen, Team Principal of Hansen Motorsport, expressed his gratitude: “A few days ago, we could not see a way back to Finland. Then these discussions began, and suddenly there was hope.
